On 19 September 2026, Ocampo & Suralvo Law Offices (“OSL”) had the opportunity to enjoy a guided, bespoke tour of the Ayala Museum. The tour not only allowed the firm’s lawyers to take a break from their busy schedules but also learn about the Philippines’ rich history.

The tour started with a visit to an exhibit containing pre-colonial golden treasures from Surigao. From there, OSL moved through various periods of the nation’s past, from an exhibit of priceless 9th-century Chinese and Southeast Asian trade ceramics to dioramas depicting the Battle of Mactan and the Battle of La Naval. Finally, the firm visited an exhibit containing several dioramas detailing significant historical events, such as the revolution against Spain and the recognition of Philippine independence by the United States. To cap the day off, OSL enjoyed a delicious lunch at Nikkei Robata, Greenbelt.

OSL believes that work excellence can be achieved not only through a talented pool of lawyers, but also through strong bonds formed among colleagues. Committed to fostering a close-knit and collaborative community, OSL sponsors out-of-work activities like this so its lawyers can build closer relationships with each other. While work at OSL can be challenging, the firm believes in investing in these kinds of experiences to make life at the firm more enjoyable.
