Our Atty. Jude Ocampo, Managing Partner of OS Law, has been named to the Asia Business Law Journal’s (ABLJ) A-List of the Philippines’ top 100 lawyers in The Philippines top lawyers 2026, published on 19 October 2026. This is the seventh straight year that Atty. Ocampo has been counted among the country’s top 100 lawyers by ABLJ.
ABLJ’s A-List is based on its own research, including nominations from in-house counsel in the Philippines and around the world and from partners at international law firms.
In ABLJ’s editorial report, Gary EP Cheng, managing director at Fortman Cline Capital Markets, says Atty. Ocampo does not “sugar coat” problems.
“I have seen him relentlessly pursue a rather uncomfortable line of inquiry to ascertain that his client understands the full situation, and that he and the client are aligned. Only then does he propose possible solutions,” says Cheng. He adds: “Ocampo does clarity of mind, impeccable logic and command of law with neither flash nor fanfare.”
Dominador Gregorio III, senior managing director at FTI Consulting Philippines, agrees: “[Ocampo] always explains the risks to clients and tries to find ways to mitigate risks. He is not afraid to tell clients what he thinks.”
