DICT Extends ITC Registration Validity to 15 Years Under Amended Common Tower Policy

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has issued Department Circular (D.C.) No. HRA-006, Series of 2025, amending the guidelines under the Common Tower Policy.

The legal issuance extended the validity period of the Certificate of Registration for Independent Tower Companies (ITCs) from five (5) years to fifteen (15) years. Also, applications for renewal must now be filed twelve (12) months before the certificate’s expiration, which is earlier than the three (3) months previously provided. ITCs that have already secured a renewed certificate of registration may surrender the original to receive an Amended Certificate of Registration. This amended document grants a fifteen (15) year validity period, which is calculated specifically from the date of issuance of the renewed Certificate of Registration.
