Applications for ONETT for the Issuance of eCAR now Available thru the eONETT System

Taxpayers may now apply for one-time transactions (“ONETT”) for the issuance of Electronic Certificate Authorizing Registration (“eCAR”) through the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s (“BIR”) Electronic One-Time Transaction (“eONETT”) System. The system allows taxpayers to apply for ONETT Computation Sheet (“OCS”) and also allows filing of returns and payment of taxes online.

To be able to use the eONETT System, taxpayers must create an account at https://eonett.bir.gov.ph/. The account must be created using a valid and active email address. Once the taxpayer has successfully registered for an account, they will be able to apply for online filing of return and payment of capital gains tax (“CGT”) and documentary stamp tax (“DST”) or expanded withholding tax (“EWT”) and DST.

For each application, details of the transaction and property information must be provided. Meanwhile, the proper supplementary requirements must also be uploaded. Upon submission of the application for either payment of CGT and DST or EWT and DST, the same will be electronically submitted to the BIR district office concerned for evaluation and approval of the OCS. After OCS approval, the applicant will then be prompted to pay the convenience fee and tax due through the available payment methods, which include GCash, Debit/Credit Card, among others. After payment and submission of proof of payment, the taxpayer will be issued a Claim Slip which will enable the taxpayer to claim the eCAR. The Claim Slip is downloadable from the account homepage. To claim the eCAR, the taxpayer will simply need to proceed to the Revenue District Office where the application or transaction was filed, present the physical copies of the required documents together with the Claim Slip, and accomplish the ONETT Customer Satisfaction Survey Form.
