Ramiila Quinto

Em has experience in civil, criminal, commercial, and labor litigation and insolvency proceedings. She has assisted in handling variety of disputes involving contracts, labor and employment matters, corporate issues, regulatory compliance and other commercial concerns. She also has experience in arbitration and proceedings under the Financial Rehabilitation and Insolvency Act (FRIA).

In addition to her dispute resolution work, Em serves as corporate secretary of various companies and regularly assists clients with corporate secretarial, corporate housekeeping matters, and corporate governance requirements. She has assisted in legal due diligence exercises for local and cross border acquisitions across various industries, including energy, BPO, cold storage. Her experience includes reviewing corporate, labor, litigation related matters, identifying legal risks and support transaction teams throughout the acquisition process.

Em holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Economic and Business Law from Kyushu University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Corporate and Business Law from the Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from San Beda University-Manila. She attended the Summer Course in Private International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law in 2019 and 2023. Em is a trained arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI). She regularly serves as an arbitrator in the Global Rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot.
