Julius Guzman

Julius has experience advising on local and cross-border transactions, corporate advisory matters, renewable energy projects, and dispute resolution.

Since joining OSL, his notable transaction experience includes legal due diligence and regulatory analysis for multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, renewable energy projects, and capital markets transactions; advising on acquisitions and investments with transaction values reaching approximately PHP2 billion; supporting a NASDAQ initial public offering; and assisting in the preparation of legal opinions for international environmental and emissions-related transactions involving Philippine counterparties and foreign investment funds.

Julius also regularly advises on renewable energy development projects, including solar, floating photovoltaic (FPV), and offshore and onshore wind projects, with substantial experience in land due diligence, regulatory compliance, and project development matters. He has drafted and negotiated complex commercial agreements, including EPC, O&M, share and asset acquisition, financing, and development agreements. He also advises on competition law, foreign investment, contractor licensing, and corporate regulatory matters, and has represented clients in high-value commercial disputes before Philippine courts.

Julius obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the De La Salle University Tañada-Diokno College of Law in 2021 and graduated in the top 25% of his class. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Export Management from the De La Salle – College of St. Benilde in 2015.
