Supreme Courts Orders No Personal Filing For The Month Of October 2021

The Supreme Court of the Philippines issued Memorandum Order No. 93-2021 on 29 September 2021. The order states the operational capacity of the Supreme Court shall remain at not exceeding fifteen percent (15%), consisting of only absolutely essential staff. For certain divisions a greater percentage may be required to report, such as the OBC (30%), Medical and Dental Services (50%), and Security Division and Maintenance Division, OAS, SC. The remaining work force shall be under the work-from-home arrangement.

The Memorandum Order also reiterated that the “no personal filing” policy under Memorandum Order No. 65-2021 dated 4 August 2021 shall still be observed and its guidelines hereby reiterated and maintained.

Lawyers and parties-litigants may file and serve pleadings and other court submissions by registered mail, or through the services of duly accredited private couriers or by electronic mail in accordance with the existing electronic filing guidelines.
