Jerard Afable

Jerard earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2025 from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, specializing in the Dispute Resolution. He graduated with Second Honors and received the Roberto A. Gana Service Award in recognition of his devotion & employment of legal knowledge to the service of the underprivileged and the marginalized. In 2021, he graduated Honorable Mention from the Ateneo de Manila University as the Program Awardee of AB Political Science. He also holds minor degrees in Sociology and Development Management. His experience includes working as a paralegal — where he participated in case-building for various civil and special proceedings. He was also a legal research assistant and interned in three top Philippine law firms during his legal education. He was a Resident Intern of the Ateneo Human Rights Center and a Student Associate of the Ateneo Legal Services Center. Currently, he is an Apprentice with the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators.
